Avoid these foods

Discomfort
After the anesthesia wears off, you may feel some mild discomfort. It can usually be controlled with acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil).
Hygiene
The following week, rinse your mouth every 4-6 hours with warm, slightly salty water (1/2 teaspoon in a tall glass of water). On the day after surgery, start brushing your teeth, avoiding any stitches.
What Is Next
In order to determine when you can be fitted with a new set of teeth, your healing will be assessed. The abutments may need to be changed before this can be done in certain cases. Surgery is not required after this procedure.
